Hundreds of people just like you and I walk into some form of therapy or counselling everyday because some aspect of their behaviour has been identified as being problematic, irrational, non-sensical and / or destructive, whether to themselves, those close to them or toward society as a whole. This includes people suffering from all forms of mental illnesses, from mild derpressions, to severe anxiety and schizophrenia. Now, if we were to look at society not as a collection of separate individuals, but as a collective, the sum total of all its individual parts, these same problematic, irrational, non-sensical and destructive patterns can be identified in the bahaviour of societal structures themselves. Which isn’t all that surprising. A drop of water is different from a lake, but specific forces will yield the same result.
